• PetroGuard Premium

PetroGuard Premium Solution is installed on a PetroGuard MiniPC with Touch Screen. Running its own copy of the drive off database, resulting in extremely fast VRN checking. Database updates are fully automated and monitored to ensure all sites are running latest definitions.

The computer program assisted, easy to use drive off offence logging allows drive offs to be reported quickly and easily through the local site before being uploaded to PetroGuard Database Control.

Full onsite reporting services show important site statistics such as number of vehicles served, amount and value of fuel supplied, most common drive off times, amount and value of fuel stolen, most frequently used pump, number of drive offs and more. All stats can be sorted by day, week, month and year providing valuable site information on demand, at a click.

Automated vehicle registration checking through a series of cameras connected to the fuel pumps means every car that attempts fuel delivery is checked for prior alleged drive off offences.

Greatly reduces manual input and automatically alerts staff when and where a drive off alleged offender attempts fuel delivery on the fuel forecourt.

Setup costs include PetroGuard MiniPC, ADSL Modem and internet connection, cameras and pump communication box.

    Installation

The PetroGuard team will supply a complete installation team to install and configure the application software, computer hardware, camera equipment and internet interactivity where required.

Training is provided to staff and management so that each site can effectively operate the chosen PetroGuard solution.

    Initial Database

When PetroGuard is initially deployed at your site, the inital database information of alleged offenders will be compiled from the drive off reports supplied by your site. If you have additional sites, all recorded drive off's from those sites will be shared.

PetroGuard Database Control will ensure that the database will be updated by the drive off reports that are submitted via member sites. This ensures that the PetroGuard database is accurate and up to date with all the latest incidents resulting in a higher chance of detecting alleged known drive off offenders.

    Database Updates

The PetroGuard Premium software - through internet connection - will link up with the PetroGuard Database Control at regular intervals and acquire the latest definition file. The definition file contains additions and subtractions to be applied to the local site database. Each addition has been approved by the PetroGuard Database Control.

For an addition to the database to be approved, a PetroGuard Database Control operator will contact the site where the drive off occurred and confirm with the site operator the details of the drive off. The PetroGuard Database Control tracks and logs all site interaction and contacts the site after a significant amount of time has passed with no updates. This ensures that each site will always be up to date with the relevant vehicle registration numbers.

    Removal from the database

Once the alleged offender calls PetroGuard Database Control and provides sufficient identification to the operator, the details of the alleged offence are discussed. The over the phone contact removes any hostility from the site operator.

If the customer accepts the alleged drive off offence and pays PetroGuard Database Control for the stolen fuel in full, the vehicle registration number will be removed from the PetroGuard database when funds have been received.

If the customer disputes the alleged drive off offence, PetroGuard Database Control will send the customer a report with photographic evidence of the alleged offence and the vehicle registration number in question will remain on the PetroGuard database until they pay in full for the stolen fuel.

    Remittance

Remittance of any alleged drive off offence received will be made to the service station on a monthly basis. Remittance will be accompanied by a report indicating how many drive offs occurred, how many are outstanding, and how many have been paid for. This allows the site to see the returns they are receiving and the status of the drive offs that occur every month.

  • PetroGuard Lite

    PetroGuard Lite Solution

Introducing the new PetroGuard Lite Solution! This new solution can cut your fuel losses, without the big startup cost to get it going! At less than an eighth of the cost of a Premium system, the Lite solution is the most cost effective way for service stations to drop fuel theft!

You get the same high quality customer service, frequent software updates, and the same licence plate database as the rest of the PetroGuard clients!

There's a new kid in town...

We are really excited about the new product that ACS Technology has just launched to service stations across Australia. Our original Anti Drive Off System is a fully automated system that uses state of the art License Plate Recognition Technology to catch repeat offenders. Whilst this system works extremely well – it does require a reasonable sized capital investment per site. So after discussing with our clients about developing a solution that was cheaper to install but could give them the same level of detection we went ahead and developed PetroGuard Lite. Whilst the fully automated system really works – not all sites experience very high levels of fuel theft – but want to try and control and reduce the level they are experiencing at their site(s).

And he wants to save you money!

The New PetroGuard Lite is designed for sites that do not have the License Plate recognition cameras installed and want a manual solution. PetroGuard Lite is supplied in an “All-in- One Touch Screen Control unit”. The new all in one unit has a small footprint – so frees up valuable desk space at the POS Area plus has the added benefits of being a touch screen. We have noticed that many sites are writing down the registrations of all cars on a notepad or sheet – before they authorise the delivery of fuel. PetroGuard Lite just becomes an extension of this process with added benefits.

    Extend your manual records...

Instead of writing down the registrations on the notepad or sheet – you simply type the registration data directly into the “PetroGuard All in One unit”. This device not only records each of the registrations (like the notepad does) it also checks each registration number entered to see if any of the registrations are contained within the PetroGuard Database of known offenders. If you have a match – then your console operators simply prepay the customer and hand the customer in question one of our client contact cards.

Reduces the chance of drive offs and stop repeat offenders!!!

You can also recall the registrations that have been entered on the unit – should a client offend. You can also check to ensure that the console staff are entering registrations during each shift by using our simple audit process and reporting system.

    Help grow the national database!

Should you have a drive off occur at your site or an IOU – you simply log the drive off on the electronic form and submit the footage from the DVR and we add them to the database – so not only is your site protected but so are the others within our network.

    Installation

Once a site agrees to install the product – we call out and supply your site the “All-In One Unit” and then you are instantly protected from all of the drive-offs within our database immediately. Sites that install PetroGuard Lite are also supplied with our pump signage, client contact cards and Information sheets at no cost. If your site(s) purchase the PetroGuard Lite System – this solution can be upgraded at a later stage to accommodate the fully automated License Plate recognition system.
